Vuxaulloi81 Hello, We bought 2 x Berner Oberlandpasses from your website. On 26th June we went to see the Oeschinensee. On the website it clearly states that the cablecar from Kandersteg to Oeschinensee is included with the Berner Oberlandpass (https://www.berneseoberlandpass.ch/attractions/ausflugsideen/oeschinensee/?from=1). Once we got there our Berner Oberlandpass didn’t work and the staff said those passes were no longer valid since 2026. So, we had to pay for 2 return tickets. Therefore we like a refund for these 2 tickets.
Tafunge25 Vuxaulloi81 it clearly states that the cablecar from Kandersteg to Oeschinensee is included with the Berner Oberlandpass (https://www.berneseoberlandpass.ch/attractions/ausflugsideen/oeschinensee/?from=1). I would not say it clearly states. It recommends you a possible excursion which you could do. That might potentially imply that the cablecar is included, but by no means is it clearly stated, as you say. Just because they outline a potential usecase for the Berner Oberland Pass doesn’t clearly state that all parts are included. They also recommend you to grill a sausage near Oeschinensee, and to me it is obvious that the sausage is not included in the Berner Oberland Pass.
Krist This is not the SBB customer service. This is just a travellers forum. Moreover: The BO pass is a BLS product, use the contact form here: https://www.berneseoberlandpass.ch/contact-us/ That said, the map does not show the Oeschinensee cable car as free with the BO pass: https://www.berneseoberlandpass.ch/assets/Uploads/BLS-BO-Pass-M-26-WEB.pdf It is also mentioned on the website: https://www.berneseoberlandpass.ch/news-2026/
RolandP Hi Vuxaulloi81 Great. But a thanks for the volunteers here in the SBB Community is still appreciated. They replied in their spare time. Kind regards, Roland
